Martin von Kleist, MSc, finished his master’s degree in psychology at the University of Graz in 2025. The master thesis was focused on physiological and behavioral age differences in humor perception and production. Since July 2026 he is a PhD student and researcher at the Cognitive Science Section. Here, he is part of the research project “DynaCITY”, which is a new paradigm for sustainable and participatory urban development, funded by the European Union programme, HORIZON Europe. His current research focus is on the human factor in complex systems, AI and its scepticism as well as policy communication and personalized persuasion.
